A few weeks ago Lauren was invited to a Princess Tea/Birthday Party for her friend Ellie from Playgroup that was turning 5. She was very excited because she got to wear her fancy dress that Nana Julie made her a year ago. I played it off that it's close to Rapunzel's dress....too bad there were multiple Rapunzel's!
Ellie's mommy had to be out of town, so her daddy took charge and was King Johnson for the day. We declared it Princess Ellie's day and the festivities began with jewelry box decorating.
While the big girls were crafting....the little girls played quietly in the living room. This is Alexa, Ellie's baby sister, being bashful!
Adalynn just parked herself in one spot and stayed there the whole time....she hadn't quite mastered the log roll at this point!
Adalynn thought it was tons of fun when the big kids showed up to play musical Princesses!
Each girl won something. Lauren got a Fairy Godmother ornament! Whoop Whoop! She was stoked and can't wait for Christmas to put it on the tree.
There was a pinata full of candy with pull strings!
Then it was time for cake!
Ellie's face cracked me up in this one!
All of the princesses.....which dresses were hand sewn??? Cassie's grandmother made her Rapunzel dress for Halloween, she's on the far right. And then Lauren of course!
Time for thank you hugs from the Birthday Girl.
This was when Ellie opened the present from Lauren. It was a large Cinderella doll that sings and talks. I found it on a crazy after Christmas sale so it was a bargain on my end too!
The girls are sick again....or just getting over it, so thankfully we got to go to this party before that hit us. But we missed another one at Chuck E Cheese. She was so bummed, she still talks about it a week later! The day of the party she was diagnosed with pneumonia....so that was a big no. We'll make up for it!
