So I just thought I'd share Lauren's idea of money. A couple weeks ago Lauren didn't want daddy to leave for work. So he informed her that he had to go to work to make more money to buy more Choo Choos (trains from the Disney show Chuggington which Lauren loves). It happened to be the day that Lauren and I were leaving for Oregon. So the whole trip to Oregon when we were asked about where Daddy was the answer "work for Choo Choos". It was something that we thought she'd forget. But not this girl. She'd talk to Daddy on the phone and remind him the whole trip. When we got home from Oregon, she received a Choo Choo and was thrilled!
Now every day when daddy gets home from work she asked "Choo Choo?" And his reply, "No Choo Choo today, it's not pay day." Well today is our pretend "pay day". We told her that Daddy gets paid with Choo Choos on Fridays (and on occassions that Daddy's out of town since she doesn't understand the days of the week yet). So all morning she's been informing me that Daddy is working and she's going to get a new Choo Choo. What's bad is that she put in her order for "Olwin Choo Choo". What's worse is that we are running out of Choo Choos to buy.....because the worst part is that she has almost every single one. And her storage tote can't even carry all of them. Can we say "spoiled"?
