Sunriver

Wednesday night, Daddy, Lauren and Mommy left for Sunriver. We were able to get over there a little early and do some shopping. Then we had to meet some friends for dinner. She started to get a little cranky after sitting for nearly 2 hours, so think she was tired we headed back to the room. I guess it was a fake out. She stayed up until 9:30 p.m. which is abnormal for Lauren.

I had to take this picture! The Thyme Roasted Anderson Ranch Lamb Rack is our neighbor Jake's family's ranch. They are pretty famous in the sheep ranching business! And we always joke about it with him, so I had to show him the picture. We thought about ordering it, but $33....we know some people! In fact we have some in our freezer!

The weather was really crappy Thursday, so mommy and her hung out....there's not a lot for a little one to do in Sunriver. We took some naps and waited for daddy to get done golfing. We stalked him from our room and caught him missing a putt on #18.

Then we had the evening event for AFRC. Lauren managed to catch up with her good friend Carin from Skamania (Heath and Erica's daughter)...however Carin (15 months) is walking now very well. Lauren could barely keep up crawling and by the time Lauren got to where Carin was....she was off again!

Lauren didn't want to take her binky out...especially when she say Carin has one too! In fact she tried to trade at one point.

Carin was teaching Lauren how to play peek-a-boo! This is her version of covering her eyes!

Carin yelling "boo" at Lauren. Lauren just giggled!

Carin can climb stairs. Lauren studied this task and I'm just thankful we don't have stairs for her to test her skills out on.

After the function, a group of us went to dinner. And Carin and Lauren were both there. Lauren was oodled over by "Grandma" Melodee and Carin sat by "Grandpa" Ross. Let's just say the evening was very entertaining. Lauren did great....which was expected except for that it was 9:30 p.m. when we left the restaurant!

On Friday, we waited for daddy to be done with his morning meeting. It was still cruddy weather, so we decided to make the bathtub our pool. Except for that the tub didn't hold water! Geesh...we could get a break anywhere!
