Blackberries

We have quite a few blackberry bushes on and around our place. The deer have actually been doing a number on many of them. Lauren and I took our bowl and went to look for some of our own while daddy was cutting trees. They seem to be really late this year up here (and that was confirmed by a couple of our neighbors).

Here we are on the porch with the few we found on the property.


Ready for a taste test....


Maybe I'll just lick them.....

I definitely don't like blackberries!

Maybe we'll try them in a cobbler!

P.S. Like the t-shirt? We are a walking billboard for that place. I bought a bunch of t-shirts for her on one of their super sales a long time ago. I remember thinking "she'll never be able to wear these!"
