Last weekend

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit last weekend and brought us some "goodies". Lauren got a different crib that converts to a toddler bed. So we have been struggling this last week with the newness of being able to leave the bed! She starts in her bed, but finds her way to ours eventually. Daddy found her in the living room after waking up to her cries at 5 a.m. this morning. But then we actually slept in until 7:30, which is amazing for her! I found her in the dining room one night screaming and another night I woke up from a dead sleep with eyeballs staring back at me! A couple of nights she didn't even start in her bed because she woke up before we got to sleep. It seems that we are dealing with some separation anxiety....and I'm not sure why. The house shouldn't be "new" any more, but who knows.
